Teana Brookover Obituary
Teana Leah Graves Brookover, 74, died Sat. 6/16/18 after battling cancer for 2 years. Born 10/11/43 in San Saba County, TX to Ray and Billie Graves. A daughter of schoolteachers, she lived all over Texas until Ray became a Goodyear Plant manager in Pasadena. She attended Pasadena schools where Billie taught. She graduated South Houston High in 1962, where she met her life's love Richard Brookover. Married 6/9/62, they raised 4 girls and dozens of foster kids. She was a Christian. Preceded in death by her parents, daughter Monye, husband Richard, sister Sanrah Ward; survived by daughters Kendra Tharp (Rich), Neely Moore (Shane), Samantha Brookover; grandkids Austin Tharp, Marshall Bailey and Madison Mae Moore, Odessa Brookover. Memorial: Wed. 11/21/18 at 1 pm; Locker Cemetery, Locker, TX on Ranch Road RR 500. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Golden Acres Baptist.
