I already miss her, and I know that you all miss her so much. May God grant you peace and bring precious memories to your heart. Wendy was a very intelligent woman, and I enjoyed our conversations over the years. She loved music, especially the JoySingers Choir. She loved church services. She loved the deacon banquet every year. She was SOOO proud of her family, and now that I have met you all, I can see why. Thank you for honoring your mother in such a beautiful way.

It has been many years since I have seen "Aunt" Wendy but remember her very well. I have lost contact with her and her sons but still remember the good times spent with the families at the old deer lease.

Wendy and my mom (Yvonne Standley ) rode to church every Wednesday and Sunday. I enjoyed talking to Wendy...sometimes, something just reminded her of a song and she would break out singing! Then she would laugh and ask, "have you ever heard that one"? I will miss her...

Wendy always had a smile and never hesitated to help when needed. She could cheer me up just by hearing her voice. I'm sure she and Travis haven't stopped talking. Rest well, Wendy, you deserve it.
