William Richard King, Sr. passed away on January 27, 2013 in Huntsville, Texas at the age of 82. He was born on July 19, 1930 in Cleveland, Mississippi. William is preceded in death by his parents Leon and Evelyn King; daughter-in-law, Peggy King; and granddaughter, Lacey Hernandez. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Deloris King; children, Donna King, William (Rick) King, Jr. and his wife Gina Lynn, Brenda King, Michael King and his wife Karen, Lynn King and his wife Lisa; sisters, Doris Morby and her husband Glen, Kathryn Fischer, Ann Landry, Sue Fontenot and her husband Ed; brother, Paul King and his wife Linda; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 12:30 pm in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of usual remembrances donations in memory of William may be made to the Cook Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 1936 Texas 75 Huntsville, TX 77320.
