'The Doc" will always have a warm spot in my heart. He was a compassionate guy who found humor in every day life. He was a mentor to me and both inspired and encouraged me to go to Providence College and then law school. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family.

To the Family of Dr.Joseph Petteruti,
My husband, Emidio, and I along with our children send our deepest sympathy and condolances to all of you on the passing of Dr Joe.
Dr. Joe was the doctor for my parents. They loved him. After I was married he became my physicican and over the next several years brought my 3 boys into the world at a hospital which is no longer standing. During my 4th pregnancy he diagnosed that I lost the baby and I miscarried shortly after. He was so kind and compassionate. I also worked for Dr. Joe 2 nights a week in the Riverside office at the desk. He was very devoted to his patients. He had a great sense of humor as well. May he now be with the Lord in glory and rest in peace eternally.
