On January 22, 2019, Frank "David" Hefner, Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior in Heaven. David was born on January 4, 1946, in Glen Allan, MS to Paul & Claudine Hefner. In 1965, David married Barbara Ann Ingram. During his early years David worked alongside his dad laying stone and ceramic tile. In 1982, David moved his family to Friendswood, TX, where he and his wife owned and operated David Ceramic Tile selling and installing tile until Barbara's death in 1998. At that time, David continued to install tile alongside his son until he retired in 2010. David loved to fish and hunt and was an avid bowler. David was a loving brother, husband, Dad, Granddaddy, Uncle and friend. David is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and infant brother. David is survived by his sister, Paulette Whitley (Don) of Bovina, MS, his daughters, Tammy Henderson (Kenny Sr.) of League City, TX, and Terry Sloyan (James), of Pearland, TX, and son, Frank David Hefner, Jr. (Terri). He leaves to cherish their memories his grandchildren, Kenny Jr. & Karson Henderson, Jimmy & Ashley Sloyan, and Tanner, Hannah & Maggie Hefner. A Celebration of David's life will be held on Saturday, January 26, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the home of Terry & James Sloyan. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can made to a charity of your choice.
