James McPherson Obituary

James Fredrick McPherson passed away August 6, 2025 at Central Peninsula Hospital with his family surrounding him loosing a short battle of Cancer.
James was born in Augusta, Georgia September 3, 1966.
He came to Soldotna with the love of his life Rebecca who is from Alaska in 2005. They left to return to Georgia 13 years later but Alaska kept calling him home. James was a Heavy Equipment Operator, worked in the Oilfield, and the Mines in Southeast Alaska and was a Plumber for many years.
He is survived by his wife Rebecca McPherson of Soldotna, Alaska, his son Andrew McPherson of Augusta, Georgia, Daughter Heidi Goodwin of Soldotna, Alaska, Mother-in-law Barbara Marie Mize of Soldotna, Alaska Grandchildren James Andrew and Kameron Mark McPherson, of Augusta, Georgia, Emberlee Marie Wysong of Soldotna, Alaska Lilliana Allison Good of Soldotna, Alaska.
Sister Janean Smith of Augusta, Georgia, Homer Robyn McPherson of Augusta, Georgia and his best friend Elvis Zendajas of Soldotna, Alaska.
James was proceeded in death by his father James Fredrick McPherson Sr. and mother Anna Muller McPherson 
Of Augusta, Georgia, Brother Jacque Muller of Augusta, Georgia 
Grandaughter Anaka Georgia Marie Long (China Blue) of Soldotna, Alaska.
James was quite the handyman around the home site, he did not get to finish all he wanted to accomplish before this terrible disease took him.
We would like to thank the home health volunteers and home health care personnel of our community for their outstanding care and devotion.
Rest in Peace Dear James.
