Zane Gill Obituary
Pensacola Beach - Zane Nicholas Gill, born May 1, 1997 in Pensacola, FL, passed away on November 1, 2019. Zane graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School in 2015 where he excelled in baseball and was an integral part of two state championship teams. He had a perfect 10-0 record as a pitcher and earned a scholarship to Duke University. He loved hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. Zane was a great son to his parents Jeff and Laurie, a great brother to Travis, and a cherished friend to many. His life will be celebrated at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church on Thursday, November 7th 2019 at 11:00am.

My heart hurts still but I know that he is in a better place now. I hadn't seen Zane in about a year and half but throughout high school and into the beginning of our college years we always kept in touch. I sit here reminiscing on the heart to hearts we had over the years, the laughs we all shared on the weekends, the inside jokes. My prayers are with his entire family during this time. We will miss you tremendously. We love you Zane, watch over us all.

I am so very sorry to hear about Zane's passing. Laurie, I remember when you were pregnant with Zane, and shortly afterward he came to Eric and Travis' swim lessons in the baby carrier.
