Barry Durham Obituary
Virginia Beach - Barry Fleming Durham 53, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2018. He was born on June 2, 1964 in Lynchburg VA, the son of Irving Thomas (Buck) Durham and Ruth Anne Dalton Durham. Barry was a graduate of Grenta High School and Old Dominion University.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Hargrove Durham; his daughter, Jessica Grace Durham; and his son, Benjamin Thomas-Lee Durham; his brother and family, David, Brandy, and Elizabeth Durham; his cousin, Bettye Clay Reitmeier and family; and many extended family members.
Barry followed in his father's footsteps by serving his community through healthcare. His love of music started with the Grenta High School band and continued throughout his life. His greatest loves were Jessica and Ben of whom he was most proud.
A memorial service will be held on May 12th at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Norfolk on Kempsville Road.
