He was my Doctor for a very long time. I moved to Florida, and returned back to the area, and I came back looking for him. He was the best, and will always be remembered.
I miss you Dr. Payne.

He was my DR. and best friend for 30 years. Was there to say my goodbye just after he closed the office for good. I told him I didn't want to see his name in this obit. guess he didn't listen very well. Will always remember him and Judy for many years to come
~thank you for just being you~

I worked for Dr. Payne for 13yrs, he was a wonderful man, boss and friend. I loved him so much. He taught me that even though he was a doctor, do not be intimidated by him because he put his pants on the same way I did, one leg at a time. I never forgot that and still being in the medical field, that will always be in my mind. He was an honest warm loving person who cherished his friends and family. I will forever be proud to have had him for my boss and friend. The world has lost a wonderful person. RIP, love Sheryl Law
