David Hogg Obituary
Norfolk - died July 10, of a protracted stroke, in Raleigh, NC. Son of the late Francis Russell Hogg and Kathleen Marshall Morgan Hogg, of Norfolk and brother of the Rev. Douglas R. Hogg, Osprey, FL; the deceased was an acolyte and choirboy at Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church; he was schooled at the Norfolk Academy before attending VPI. After serving in the Army, Mr. Hogg settled in Charlotte, NC and a career with US Gypsum. He is survived by his wife, Marianne Hodges Hogg of Norfolk; a daughter, Katy; a grandson, David. A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 20; because he was an avid skier and sailor, his cremated remains will be cast upon the sea.
