Ian you will be missed by everyone who crossed your path! I had the pleasure of meeting you when I worked at Walgreens. You always made my day when I got to see you. I will miss our talks and seeing your smile! So many good laughs with you buddy. Keep shining up there!

As a coach with Special Olympics Area 2, I met Ian on the basketball court. I loved his outgoing personality, his smile and his hugs. He was larger than life, and from what I saw, a stranger to no one. I will miss him. We all will. God speed Ian. My condolences to his family and all that loved him.

I remember Ian from High School, and he was the absolute sweetest, and kindest. You were and are loved by everyone that had the pleasure of seeing you smile.

I was my great honor to be Ian´s swim coach. From watching a little guy to watching a man become one of the best Special Olympics swimmers in the state. Watching the joy on his face as he accomplished personal goals as well as helping other athletes obtain theirs was simply the best. He was a friend and team leader to everyone. Your job here on earth is done. We will miss you.

Ian was such an awesome and inspiring young man and I am sad that we will not laugh together again! I always enjoyed seeing him! We had many things in common; H.S. Swimmers, golfers, but our most common attribute is that we were both "Puers" or "eternal boys" at heart. This is why we got along so well! In the late 90's and early 2000's I got to know Ian. I would often be asked to give him a ride to, and sometimes from, his work. Ian had a knack for, conveniently, missing his bus. To the chagrin of both Larry and Nancy. :) Larry would ask me if I could help out, which I never minded. I will always appreciate the trust he had in me to help out with his son. We played a few rounds of golf together in the Tournament his mother initially organized, Ian was always so social and gracious at the event, and it was always a pleasure to see him. Condolences from my family to his.
