To Kimber´s family and friends,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I just learned of her passing and I am just sick. I want you to know she was in a special class in her profession. I have travelled and lived many places and Kimber - and her studio - were gems in Richmond. Her passion for the healing power of Pilates was infectious and she was a brilliant instructor. After two c-sections she helped me regain balance, function and strength in my core. It was a gift to work with her. You should be very proud. She was such a nice person! I am so sad she is gone and will miss her. You should know that Richmond has lost a big talent who was very appreciated. You all will be in my prayers.
Deepest Sympathies,
Laura Willard

I am so sorry to hear this. She was an amazing and knowledgeable instructor. I promised her i would be back and I am sorry I cannot be now that she is gone. I absolutely loved her. She made me stronger in just a month. I will miss knowing she is not in this world with me and am so sorry for your loss.

To all of Kimber's family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Kimber taught me and so many others the world of Pilates. She made a huge difference in my life which then layers into the differences in those who I now teach. Literally, her love and talent of Pilates changed hundreds of lives and will continue to do so as we repeat the moves and words she taught us. May you find peace and comfort in the cherished memories you have of her.

I was so deeply sorry to hear about Kimber’s passing. She was my Pilates mentor and friend for many years. She was a funny, knowledgeable and caring person. Her mother Carlyn and Kimber helped me immensely through a rough patch in my life, I will never forget their generosity . I’m praying for Kimber and for those who are left here in earth. May God grant you strength as you mourn. Please know that Kimber touched my life and so many in the Pilates community. She was a wonderful spirit and will be sorely missed.

My deepest condolences to Kimber´s family. She helped me make it through the last awful year, cheerfully appearing on my computer screen on Wednesdays at noon to guide me through an hour of Pilates with humor, warmth and a lot of encouragement. I will miss her beautiful smile and her cheerful, generous spirit.

One of my most treasured memories of Kim was at the Suzanne Vega concert held at Chrysler Hall in 1987. Kim, Jamie Gill and I attended together amidst a MUCH older and reserved crowd (Kim and I were about 14 at the time). When the song “Left of Center” began, we jumped-up and danced along — and we were the only ones, but it matter not to us! I still find so much joy in that memory with Kim. She was such a unique & beautiful sou!! She shall be sorely missed.
Rest In Peace, my friend.

Kimber was the kindest, most welcoming person I have known. She shared her expertise freely and taught scores of people Pilates in Richmond who will forever mourn her. She spread light and love throughout our community and we are bereft. I hope her family knows how much she was loved and respected in RVA. We will miss you every day Kimber. Love, Kieran

In loving memory of my fellow classmate from the Class of 1990 at Norfolk Collegiate. Kim was a true friend who had a keen wit, a great sense of humor and wonderful personality. Regardless of what was happening, she always had that beautiful smile on her face. She was such a beautiful spirit and will be missed. Sending my prayers and thoughts to all of her family in this difficult time.
