Maurice Seaton Obituary
Chesapeake - Maurice L. Seaton, 64, passed away on October 21, 2015. He was a senior lecturer in Old Dominion University's department of economics. He was a native of the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts, in the West Indies. Maurice was born to the late Tom and Eris Seaton. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Seaton; son, Marlon Maurice Seaton and daughter, Amy Daniel; two sisters, one brother and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held, 2pm, Friday October 30, 2015 at Metropolitan Funeral Service, 5605 Portsmouth Blvd. Portsmouth VA 23701. Family will receive friends Thursday October 29, 2015 from 4pm-7pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, VA.

Seaton Family - I am so sorry to hear about Professor Seaton. I just met him this past summer while taking his class. He always said if we won the lottery to come to him and he would help us make a plan for the money - lottery or not, I think he knew what he was talking about, so I made a plan to take him up on that offer in the future ;). He was so knowledgeable and helpful - the university has sure lost a great educator. I will be thinking of you all,
