Chesapeake - Memorial service for Melanie Dawn Keffer Thurman of Chesapeake, Va, born December 31, 1969, deceased March 30, 2017, will be held at Mt Pleasant Mennonite Church at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Melanie is survived by daughter Madison Thurman, brother John Keffer and his wife Melanie, sisters Ashley Bastian, Stephanie Underwood, Valerie Cartwright, mother Evelyn Miles, father Alan Keffer and wife Linda, grandmothers Edna Miller and Dana Keffer and special friend George Cobb. She is predeceased by her step-father Alan C. Miles.
