Shawn Mullen Obituary
Norfolk - Shawn Michael Mullen, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he moved with his family at age 6 due to U.S. Navy service.
Shawn attended Bayview Elementary, Ruffner Middle, and Norview High Schools, and was a graduate of Old Dominion University. He worked in the hotel business as a Payroll/Accounts Payable Specialist.
Shawn is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen; father, Michael; brother, Craig and wife, Heather, and brother, Rian; niece, Hailey; nephew, Cameron; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Shawn will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and those who have met him.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 8464 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, VA 23518, on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Condolences may be offered to the family at:
