Brad Bunger Obituary
PEKIN - Brad Alan Bunger, 49, of Pekin passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, in Bonita Springs, Fla.
He was born Aug. 13, 1964, in Peoria to John and Carole (Rudd) Bunger.
Surviving are his parents of Pekin; his sister, Beth (Brian) Rafool of Pekin; his nephew, Taylor Rafool; and his niece, Jensen Rafool.
Brad graduated from Illini Bluffs High School in 1982 and attended Western Illinois University.
Brad was kind-hearted and compassionate, especially with family, friends, children and animals. He especially enjoyed spending time in the sun and vacationing in Florida. He loved sports and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.
Brad was a member of the Chicago Cubs Boosters of Central Illinois and belonged to the Bartonville Sons of the American Legion Post 979.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Tazewell Animal Protective Society in Pekin.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. Brad and I spoke around Christmas last year about all of our child hood memories clear up until our grown years. Let me tell you that he, and I had a wonderful time that day. Rest in piece my friend.

My first memory of Brad was when my family brought a gift to your home in Glasford for "Baby Bunger" because we did know his name yet. From that day on we were in love with him! He was always so loving, good natured and happy. He made you feel like you were someone special when he talked to you. I can't imagine a world without his handsome face and beautiful smile.
