I have known Harold for most of my life and i can honestly say that you will never find a finer man. He was an excellent husband and father. Harold was a good friend to those he called friend. He told me a while back that he had it all. Harold was by no means bragging. He said he had a good wife and daughter, good job, and got to do the things he enjoyed. I ask you how many people can say that. He totally loved working with his daughter. He loved traveling with his wife. I think we all know how much he enjoyed food and being in the food business, and his cars. I liked talking with Harold on fb. Talking with Harold always put me in a good mood. He was a true friend and i will miss him dearly. My prayers go to Cindy and Marilyn. This is a hard time for them. I love you both.

Marilyn, So sorry to hear about Harold.
It was a real shock. He was my good e-mail buddy. I've lost a few others over the years also. I still drink coffee out of my "Harold's Hamburger" mug once or twice a week. Always afraid that one day I'll break it.
Maybe I should retire it now. God bless you and maybe we'll see you sometime when we're up from Missouri.

Harold Humphrey and Mr Quick hold many fond memories for me. Harold was my first boss. He was the scary big guy that stood in the back doorway with his arms crossed....watching me....when I was only 16. When I got to know him well, he was certainly anything from scary! This man fixed EVERYTHING with a hammer. I would say, "Mr Humphrey, the ice machine is broken". He would say, "Get me the hammer!" haha
He was a good man who gave so many our first work experience. It was a good experience, too! I have many fond memories of him and the store. I was lucky to have known him and worked for him. He was loved and will be missed by many!

Marilyn, Cindy & Family: My Love & Prayers are with you! Harold was a very kind, giving & loving person who did so much for our Community. So many of us Sunnylanders are missing him. He was not only a good friend, but someone that I grew up knowing & loving as family. I have so many special memories from his playing Santa, transporting silly girls to the emergency room when he volunteered for Northern Tazewell, the ball teams with NTRA, his love of Oldies, Cruise-Ins & the free meals he'd give the school kids for our good grades. We Love You & hope you're dancing in Heaven with Mom to your Oldies!

Harold was a great friend to my parents, my sisters, and myself. He will be greatly missed! I remember the late night Pinochle games the six of you friends played, and the many nights out when Cindy would come and stay with us Duits girls! I met my husband Brandon while we both worked for Harold at Harold's Hamburgers 20 years ago! I greatly enjoyed the times you came down to Biloxi to visit and playing slot machines at the casinos! I know you are in a much better place now, but you are missed! Thoughts and prayers to Marilyn and Cindy, we love you all!
