Justin Guppy Obituary
BARTONVILLE - Justin Robert Guppy, 27, of 121 N. Cameron Lane, Bartonville, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born in Peoria to Robert L. and Debra Ann Geier Guppy Jr. on April 7, 1981.
Justin is survived by his parents; brothers, Jarrod and Jaramy Guppy, and sister, Jennifer (Doug) Bock, all of Bartonville; nieces Kayleigh, Emmie and Kennedi Bock; maternal grandparents, Richard and Betty Geier of Metamora; paternal grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Guppy of Bartonville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His sister, Jill Ann, and his great-grandparents preceded him in death.
Justin was a kind and loving person who loved his family. He loved playing with his nieces and was an avid Cubs fan who always had his Cubs hat on. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Justin worked as a server at Joe's Crab Shack.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, 6614 W. Smithville Road, Bartonville, where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30. The Rev. Barbara Ziah will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, all at the church. Cremation will be accorded after the service and burial of cremains will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
The Cremation Society through Abts Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

I just heard about Justin and my heart goes out to you all. He was always the nicest, politest boy to me when we were young and then again as a man. I am glad I got to see him again not too long ago. Justin has kept in contact since we met in high school. I remember when I didn't have a prom date and he said he would go with me. He said I would regret it if I didn't go. We had such a good time together, I asked him to be my date to the Vice Versa dance. He really enjoyed getting dressed up and was always making jokes. We've made some great memories. For all of his friends and family, I pray for peace.

Guppy Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear about Justin. I went to school with him at Limestone-Walters and Limestone. He was always such a joy to be around and such a nice friend. I last saw him while he was working at the Par-A-Dice. We talked for about 15 minutes and I'm glad I got that opportunity. We're all sorry for your loss of such an amazing individual. I am truly sorry to hear for your loss. Justin and I went to Oak Grove and Limestone together. I used to hang out w\ him often and stay the night at your house every once in a while. Justin and I even played little league baseball together for many years on the same team. He will surely be missed. I know that.
