DANVERS - Lloyd Richard Fauber, 95, of Danvers passed away at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral services for Lloyd will be at 12 noon Friday, May 10, 2013, with the Rev. Ron Thacker officiating at Otto-Argo-Calvert Funeral Home, Danvers, Ill. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, May 10, 2013, at the funeral home in Danvers, Ill. Entombment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to Advocate Bromenn Hospice in his honor.
He was born on June 9, 1917, the son of Orville and Anna Vaubel Fauber in East Peoria, Ill. He married Kathleen Blount on Oct. 23, 1941, in Spring Bay, Ill. She preceded him in death on March 18, 2011.
Surviving are his five children, Ralph (Dixie) Fauber of Stanford, Ill., Larry Fauber of Bartonville, Ill., Robert Fauber and Dee Meiss, of Danvers, Ill., Janice (Richard) Marmon of Lake Wood Ranch, Fla., and RuthAnn (Michael) Fogler of Danvers, Ill.; one sister, Hazel (Ronald) Dyar of Metamora, Ill.; two brothers, Lowell (Freida) Fauber of East Peoria, Ill., and Raymond (Eleanor) Fauber of Bartonville, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Lloyd farmed in the Danvers area for more than 71 years and was surely proud of that.
