PEORIA - Stephen P. Bayer, 49, of Peoria died at 4:28 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Nov. 13, 1957, in Peoria, Ill., the son of John A. and Rebecca Bayer.
Surviving are one daughter, Kristen Bayer of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; one granddaughter, Gabrielle Bayer of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; uncle Donald (and Phyllis) Bayer of Moline, Ill.; and cousin Larry (and Charla) Bayer of Moline, Ill.
His parents preceded him in death.
He was a chef in Florida for several years until moving to Peoria, where he was a salesman in marketing.
He was a wonderful and loving father and grandfather.
Cremation has been accorded and a graveside burial of ashes will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Kewanee.
Memorial contributions may be made to Peoria Rescue Mission.
Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home in Princeville is in charge of arrangements.
