Alice M. Wilt, 79, of East Stroudsburg, formerly of River Edge, N.J., for 22 years, passed away Sunday, April 17, at home. She was the beloved wife of the late William W. Wilt.
Born on Sept. 21, 1925, in Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Gordon) Schatz.
Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are one son, Robert W. Wilt and his wife, Veronica, of Bridgewater, Conn.; daughters, Susan M. Hanf and her husband, Fordham, of Pen Argyl, and Lorraine A. Rega and her husband, John, of Bethlehem; grandsons, Michael Wilt and his wife, Alexandra of New Fairfield, Conn., Garrett Hanf and his wife, Nicole, of Northampton, Travis Hanf of Pen Argyl, Brandon Hanf of Pen Argyl, Brian Wilt of Bridgewater, Conn., and Scott Rega of Bethlehem; granddaughters, Allison Schardan and fiancé, Kevin Coughlin, of Thorndale, and Janice Rega of Bethlehem; great-grandsons, Christopher Schardan and Gavin Hanf; and great-granddaughters, Cailey Hanf and Emily Wilt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, Brodhead Avenue, East Stroudsburg. The Rev. Father Daniel Toomey will serve as celebrant. Burial will follow in Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
A visitation for family and friends will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to American Cancer Society, RR 2 Box 2138, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

To the Wilt Family
I spoke with mom today and she told me about Alice's passing. I know that we all have lost touch with each other over the years but please know that I am deeply sorry for your loss. Alice is in Gods hands now and she will always be watching over you all.. God Bless you all.
