Jamie Norcross of New York City died suddenly on Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was born on July 21, 1969, in Syracuse, N.Y., and was the son of James Norcross, longtime resident of Stroudsburg and Sheila Norcross of Manhattan.
Jamie was an accomplished drummer, performing with many musicians, and established bands across the country. He always appreciated life and what it handed him, which made him a true humanitarian. He had only just begun to live when he left us.
He is survived by his parents, James and Sheila, along with his sisters Tiffany Norcross Fryer and Cassandra Norcross, and a brother, Craig Norcross. He is also survived by his step-mother, Cordula Norcross and his grandfather, Edward Norcross of Syracuse.
Memorial services will be held at the Church of Immaculate Conception, East 14th Street, Manhattan, 11 a.m., Saturday, April 2.
