Christopher Silver, Sr., 55, passed away on September 24, 2015, following a battle with cancer. He was born October 3, 1959 in Neenah, WI. He is survived by his son, C.J. Silver, his father, Harold Silver, his sisters, Audrey, Arizona; Janis (Dennis), Idaho; Mary (Tom), Wisconsin; and Cheryl (Eric), Wisconsin, and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother, Katheryn Silver.

Following high school, Chris enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served six years as a sonar technician aboard a frigate in the Mediterranean and Middle East from 1977 to 1983. He was honorably discharged while stationed in Jacksonville, FL, which has been his home ever since.

During high school, Chris's passions were electronics, the production side of the drama club, and singing. He was able to combine his experience in electronics and his passion for production in his career in audio/visual production companies. His 30 year career took him through an incredible evolution of lighting and sound into the present digital age. He was known as "Mr. Fixit" as he was a gifted technician and could fix anything. He joined PRI Productions in the fall of 2003 and helped grow and manage all aspects of the Audio/Visual Department prior to his present position as the Director of Information Technology. During Jaguar home games, you would find Chris up in the sound booth on the Game Day Crew of PRI Productions. Away from work, he enjoyed reading and participating in Medieval Festivals and Renaissance Faires. He was a proud member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church.
