Debra "Deb" Ann Evers

Appleton - Deb Evers, age 61, from Appleton, WI passed away peacefully on July 3, 2021 with her loving family by her side following a short battle with cancer, which her and her family were only made aware of a few days prior to her passing.

Deb Evers was born in Appleton, April 28, 1960. Daughter of Merle and Gloria Verhagen. She spent over 40 years caring for others as a CNA. She enjoyed going to the beach, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and shopping for deals. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she always decorated with hundreds of snowmen. She spent many weekends up north at her parent's home in Lakewood lounging in the lake on her floatie and had a great poker face while playing sheepshead with her family. She loved to shimmy down on the dance floor and was often known as the Dancing Queen. Above all, the most important thing in her life was her three beautiful children Amy, Holly and Jason.

Deb is survived by her children: Amy Evers (fiancé Ben), Holly Evers (fiancé Mike), Jason (Rachael) Evers who are expecting Deb's first grandchild in December; father Merle Verhagen; brothers: Mark Verhagen, Bill (Brenda) Verhagen, Merle (Lora) Verhagen; and sister Lynn (Randy) Verhagen. She's also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Deb is preceded in death by her mother Gloria Verhagen and her brother Tim Verhagen.

Funeral services will be held at Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest Friday at St Mary's of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood, WI.

You were the best mom anyone could ever ask for and will forever be in our hearts. We miss you and love you so much. Our lives will never be the same. Love always Amy, Holly, and Jason
