Cindy, I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I remember serving mass at St John's and saw your mom there every day.
Always remember Colors fade, temples crumble, empires fall, but a mother's love is eternal. I'm sure she's raining down some of that love from Heaven today. You'll be in my prayers.

I am so sorry about Helen's passing. I played bunco with the residents at Hartsfield, and she was such a delight. We had many discussions about books especially mysteries. I often brought her books and she was so appreciative. She always insisted on keeping score and being the perfect hostess for her table. Every
time I volunteer at Hartsfield, I will feel her presence.

I had the chance to meet Helen at Hartsfield myself while I visited and played bunco on Friday mornings. She would always light up a room and was concerned if she hadn't seen Uncle Walter. I can remember when he first arrives, she would say hello to him everyday...even when he wasn't so happy himself. I loved her Harley Davidson outfit. She will truly be missed!!!

You were right,Cindy, she was a wonderful lady, and I loved her from the first time I met her. Helen was the glue that held my activity department together while I was there. The other residents loved her, respected her and counted on her for assistance for crafts, bingo and just to have a friend to talk to. I used to tell her when I grew up I wanted to be just like her.she was my best friend at the nursing home and we kept in touch after I retired. My heart is broken', I will miss her. Thank you for sharing her with us. God bless you.

It was a privilege and honor to get to know Helen over the past 5 years that I have been working at Hartsfield village. She always had a smile and kind word for everyone and she always brightened my day. She will be missed very much. Rest easy Helen until we meet again.
