Mary Eckes Obituary
Mary Jane Eckes age 75, Pound resident passed away Saturday with family by her side. She was born to the late George and Guilus (Surpise) Parker June 30, 1937 in Oconto, WI. Mary Jane married Jerome Eckes September 10, 1960 at St. Joseph's Church in Oconto. The couple resided the last 19 years at White Potato Lake in the Town of Pound. She was a Registered Nurse for 30 years. Mary Jane Loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing cards. Surviving are her husband Jerome, two daughters Polly Romenesko of Kaukauna,and Patti Calabrese of Red Bank, New Jersey and two sons Paul (Joan) Eckes of Combined Locks, WI and Pete (Kim) Eckes of Rogers, AR and 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at St. Mary Church in Crivitz Friday March 15, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Walter Stumpf officiating and Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery. Please visit www.rhodescharapata.com for condolence and video tribute.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Mary Jane (Mrs. Eckes) at Riverview Health Center. She always had a smile on her face, compassion and patience for the residents and co-workers, and wore her heart on her sleeve.
