William Bergstrom Obituary
Bill enjoyed spending time with loved ones. He was a very proud son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He put his family ahead of everyone and everything. Not a single day went by in Bill's life where his family wasn't his first priority. He also had a growing friend base that cared for him so deeply. His constant smile, strong compassion, endless generosity, and wonderful personality will be truly missed.
Bill is survived by his wife, Mary (Wiese); his daughter, Wendy (Alex) Noskowiak; his sons: Andy (Lyndsey) Bergstrom and Leif Bergstrom and his granddaughter, Faith Marie Bergstrom. He is also survived by his brothers and sister: Dedric Waldemar "Wally" III (Marshelle) Bergstrom, John F. (Dianne) Bergstrom, Richard A. (Jennifer) Bergstrom and Jennifer Mary (Tom) Sitter; his sisters- and brother-in-law: Cindi (Rick) Zimmerman, Amy (Bruce) Thomas and Tom (Cathy) Krock.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law, Myra and Fred Wiese and sister-in-law, Pam Krock.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 15, 2012, at St. Margaret Mary Church, 620 Division Street, Neenah with Fr. Michael L. Ingold officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region in the name of William L. Bergstrom.

Can it possibly be 11 years since you left us? It seems like yesterday. We think of you every year as we gather for our annual gathering and salute your absence. Your were such a ball of energy that the entire gathering was energized by your presence.
Continue to rest in Peace Big Fella. CB and Max have already join you and most of us aren't far behind. Save a place at the table. Just don't plan on sitting to my left.

It is still a fresh memory and I can see "Bill" and "Mary" at a family bar be que they gave when we came from Cayman to visit. Remembering they had a bouncy thing in the back yard and Old me had to try it, It was a mistake, but it did make us all laugh! There was a lot of laughter, but it has been the strong faith the has held this family together and caused them to do many great things, Bill and Mary were easy to love and it is sad they went on, so early, but they left a wonderful family and sending love and prayer to the whole family.. Love, from Cayman, Aunt Suzy Keep up the post time, holding family together is so important.....Pray for the healing for the country.

It is so sad to loose these sweet deep good souls so early, now his sweet loving mate Mary, think of all those in the Gibson and Bergstrom families that I was fortunate to know and love, and how the children need to be so thankful of being a part of these wonderful families.. Just a few days ago Bill and his sister came to my mind. I was thinking how strange, the two youngest, have left us. Remember Bill and he sweet disposition and smile, a loving person, and my "Jemmie". It brought tears to my eyes and then I get this reminder. Although I have not seen Bill in years this picture brings back so many wonderful memories of him. How fortunate we all are to have been a part of his life. He was a good tennis player, fisherman(caught 22 sunfish in one night!) and bowler. He was also the life of the party at Marquette with all of his Campion friends. I am sorry for your sudden loss and will be thinking of the entire Bergstrom family in the upcoming months. I know he will be greatly missed.

My thoughts to Bill's family. I got to know Im through many years as a customer (Nesco), but valued his friendship, honesty and professionalism. I have many great memories...designing packaging, sharing a bite to eat, those great GNC pre-Packer parties; but most of all I remember his smile, his laugh and his handshake. We'll all miss him. My dear Neenah Family, our love, prayers, and sympathy are flowing your way. We have wonderful memories of times together over the years. The youngest "twin" lots of teasing Bill over that one! I recall happy time in Cayman and when Gramma Roemer brought everyone down for a holiday. How wonderful it was, the laughs the fun the football games. Very sad to hear of a great man leaving way too early. Back in the 70's, "Billy" was the nicest, coolest guy that managed a group of teens at "Scoopers Custard Castle". He befriended us as an equal and by example showed us that you really could be a fun, compassionate, thoughtful friend and leader regardless of upbringing or backround. The world needs more people like Billy. He will be greatly missed !

I am very shocked and so saddened
to hear about Bill's passing. I haven't seen Bill in a long time but will always remember him as a fun and happy guy. I have a lot of happy memories with Bill, playing hide and seek at the Raulf Hotel in Oshkosh at Thanksgiving, playing croquet on the lawn at Aunt Janes in Neenah; Bill entertaining the cousins at the dinner table while we had to sit there for hours; Jennifer and Bill putting on a puppet show for us, etc.... He was our entertainment for family gatherings and we all were excited to see Bill again.
I am sorry that I am unable to attend his funeral service, but I want you to know that I will miss him and that he was a truly wonderful person.
