HUDSON FALLS - Marlene J. Mullen, 75, of Hudson Falls, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at home.
Born on March 29, 1948 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Richard K. and Marjorie (Gillmor) Bailey.
She graduated from Queensbury High School.
Marlene then went on to work at the Queensbury Elementary School for 13 years as a Kindergarten Aide.
She enjoyed vacationing to Hampton Beach, NH and Old Orchard Beach, ME. Marlene loved to spend time with her family and spoiling her granddaughter.
Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved to watch Christmas movies. She also enjoyed spending time with her cat, Willow.
In addition to her parents, Richard K. and Marjorie Bailey, Marlene is predeceased by her husband, Stephen Mullen.
Survivors include her daughter, Courtney (Patrick) Mullen of Fort Edward; her grandchildren: Ayla Mullen, Aedan Mullen and Hunter Green; her brothers: Leslie Bailey of Auburn, NY and Brian Bailey of Greenfield, MA. She also leaves behind three nieces and two nephews.
A private family service and burial will be held at a later date.
The family would like to send a special thanks to High Peaks Hospice for all the care and compassion given to her and her family during this difficult time.

Courtney, I just found out about your Mom. I am so so sorry for your loss. I am very sad and hope you are doing okay. It´s hard when we lose our Mom.
I loved working with your Mom.
She was the nicest person I ever met.

I worked with Marlene for many years. We shared lots of time and laughs together. Many good memories.
I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a good person.
