It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Scott A. He was born September 9, 1974, in Glens Falls, N.Y. and grew up in Hudson Falls, sharing his love of life, family, and creativity. His humor and good will were well known to all.

Scott graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1992 and then went on to study at SUNY Adirondack. He left his studies to work at Saratoga Bridges Wilton Day Habilitation Program, where he made many friends among his coworkers and clients. He later worked as a welder for a construction company but returned to Saratoga Bridges. He then went to work at the Mechanicville Post Office. He had a lifelong passion for over the road trucking which he did for many years, and went on to work for Curtis Lumber Co, until his health began to decline. Scott made many lasting friends with every position he held.

He had a long-time passion for being a volunteer firefighter and spend many years with the Fort Edward Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Quaker Springs Fire Department, as well as the Hudson Falls Fire Department. He was forced to retire from actively volunteering, due to his declining health. Scott was also very creative in culinary work, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and uncles. Many of his creations were in demand at gatherings with family and friends.

Scott met the love of his life at Saratoga Bridges, Jacqueline M. (Reulet) Roberts, and they married on August 28, 2010. They enjoyed life together traveling and making wonderful memories.

He was predeceased by his father, Clifford E. Roberts; aunt, Barbara J. Duval; in-laws, Joseph and Veronica Reulet; his grandparents, Raymond and Adelaide Duval Sr.; and his uncle, Carl Cappiello.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline of Saratoga Springs; his mother, Jacqueline A. Roberts of Fort Edward; stepbrother, Peter P. Roberts of West Coxsackie; brother, Kevin P (Cathleen) Roberts of Glens Falls; uncle, Raymond O. Duval Jr. of Queensbury; and aunt, Yvonne Cappiello of Glens Falls; several, nieces, nephews and cousins; brother-in-law, David (Sandra) Reulet; sister-in-law, Judith (James) Eustis.
