Elmer Davidheiser

Elmer "Shorty" Davidheiser, 98, formerly of Stowe, husband of the late Pauline P. (Miller) Davidheiser, passed away Friday December 2, 2022 at Birdsboro Lodge. Born in Stowe, he was the son of the late Morris and Ida (Kulp) Davidheiser. Elmer served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the West End Fire Co. Elmer worked as a baker for Mrs. Smith's Pie Co. in Pottstown. He served as past President and Vice President of the Board of Director's for Mrs. Smith's Pie Federal Credit Union. Surviving are his two daughters Elaine Albright wife of Kenneth and Deborah Ziegler wife of Joseph; 6 grandchildren Kenneth Albright Jr. husband of Beverly, Jeffrey Albright husband of Karen, Susan Albright, Stacey Chapman, Ryan Matthews husband of Melody, and Eryn Keppel wife of Shaun; and 13 great grandchildren. Along with his wife and parents, Elmer was predeceased by his brother Elwood Davidheiser. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
