Brian J. McMahon

WALLKILL - Brian James McMahon, 29, an area resident for 2 2years and formerly of the Bronx, died on Saturday, January 9, 2016.

Born at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan on December 9, 1986, he was the son of Dennis and Linda Mahoney McMahon of Wappingers Falls. Brian graduated from John Jay High School in2004 and was employed as a corrections officer with the State of New York at Fishkill Correctional Facility. He loved playing hockey, and had been a member of the East Fishkill Roller Hockey League. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his quad and cars.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his brother, Dennis McMahon; his sister, Jessica McMahon; his nephews, Tyler and Dennis; his dog, Hazel; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pmat the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at St. Columba Church,835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
