In loving memory of Joseph F. Mazzello Jr. A phenomenal human in whom left this world too soon. Though I have never gotten a chance to meet him, I find myself talking to him often. Your light shines brightly through your children and through those you've taught at JG Dance. Forever an angel, rest easy now Mr. Mazzello.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Joey and I were dance partners back in 1961 on the Ed Sullivan TV show with the Estelle and Alfonso dancers. Ginnie you were also in that group. I heard of Joeys passing from a Facebook post of your son being in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody. He has become a fine actor. My sincere sympathies to you and all your family. From Susan Eisele Beebe.

The Seraphim clearly indicates their ceaseless and eternal revolution about Divine Principles, their heat and keenness, the exuberance of their intense, perpetual, tireless activity, and their elevative and energetic assimilation of those below, kindling them and firing them to their own heat, and wholly purifying them by a burning and all-consuming flame; and by the unhidden, unquenchable, changeless, radiant and enlightening power, dispelling and destroying the shadows of darkness. Placing Seraphim in the highest rank in the Christian angelic hierarchy.

As a member of JG Dance in the late 1970s and early 1980s, I am very saddened to hear of Joe's passing. As a child, I loved going to acro and I loved the care and dedication shown by both Joe and Ginnie. Their business felt like a family, and I am grateful for having learned from them.

I believe to have been being received as " Seraphim " ..........the Seraphim are said to be the highest rank of angel. This is probably because of their very close proximity to God....,,,...So Very Much More Than "Well ", Joe........Thank You ....

My heart is so heavy with this news and my thoughts and prayers are with you, Ginnie, and your children during this difficult time. Dancing at JG has always held a special place in my heart, and I'll always remember it so fondly.
Joe had such a special combination of warmth, humor and talent. He inspired his students to embrace the beauty of movement, but moreover, he inspired us to see the beauty and the humor in every day moments, and that's what made him so very special to all of us who had the privilege to know him. May he Rest In Peace.

I am very sorry to the family for the loss. I remember playing baseball with his son John during highschool and summer ball. Mr Mazzello was always there showing his support for the teams. A great man and a great family. God Bless you.

Dear Ginnie and Family,
Words can not express the loss of a loved one, especially one that was so beloved by obviously everyone that met him. I read all the memories and tributes of Joe, and I hope that these words will bring you all some comfort just knowing how special he was to everyone. You will be in our daily thoughts and prayers, always. With much love, The Durkin Family

I am at a loss for words learning about Joey's passing.
We grew up together on Bridge Street, spent a lot of time together getting chased out of the store to go out an play.
He was one of the good guys and was considered to be a brother. In fact his dad, Muzzie was my God Father.
Know he made a big mark on the world. It is now a little bit dimmer knowing he is gone but only in body. My memories of our times growing up will always bring a smile to my face.
