I was a friend to Michael at Oak Grove elementary school. I remember going on a field trip to Bear Mountain NY with our class. I recently found some photos from The trip in my parents photo collection. Sorry for your loss. God speed. Robert Westfall - Manahawkin NJ

thanks for the additions-you too carbone :) --i like to think of mike hanging out with his friend thor carey one day, then his grandparents the next,(bea&paul, lillian&herb, rube&claire),then aunt patty, uncle jim, making lots of new friends...never saw a temper in mike-never saw him throw anything-mike was always great at getting work, but he doesn`t have to work anymore...mike is not in the coffin.mike didn`t just go back to dust and cease to exist.mike`s soul lives on in a new body-and in time, his friends and family will be joining him.better get your fill of shadow now,man :) Love, bro Dave.

The Lord is my shepard;I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul:he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name`s sake.yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil:for thou art with me;thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:thou anointest my head with oil;my cup runneth over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Former manager, Dan Burns, captured Mike best when he said "Michael had an essence that made him stand out as a Favorite where ever he went." At the memorial service, brothers, Dan, Matthew, and I, in our Messages felt He was a success at many careers and had many true friends. You may rest in peace as your biggest success, your Daughter, Alexa is now in college.(Dad)
