Poughkeepsie - Michael J. McCoy, 21, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born on March 20, 1997 in Albany, NY, he was the son of Carol Murphy Nelson (Predeceased by Brent) and Thomas R McCoy Jr. (Jamie). Michael is survived by his parents, his brother Thomas R. McCoy, III, his sister Megan C. McCoy and his nephew Anthony R. Ashline. He is also survived by his grandfather, Jeremiah C Murphy, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael was a graduate of Arlington High School and worked for Stop and Shop. He loved music and all electronics. He also cherished spending time with his family and friends. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 10:00am in the Funeral Home and burial will follow at the Overlook Cemetery.
