Nahla Sahawneh

Hyde Park - Nahla Sahawneh, 79 years, of Hyde Park, passed away on Saturday January 2, 2021 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital.

She was born on Tuesday July 15, 1941 in Irbid, Jordan the daughter of Ibraheem Haddad and Nabiha Nesheiwat.

On June 16, 1972 in Jordan Nahla married Jamal Sahawneh. Nalha was a retired teacher.

She was a member of St. James Antiochian Orthodox Church Poughkeepsie, New York.

One of the most important parts of Nahla life was being with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors Include her husband Jamal of Hyde Park, her children Rami Sahawneh and his wife Diana of Hyde Park, Shadi Sahawneh and his wife Daad of Poughkeepsie, Fadi Sahawneh and his wife Tamra of Wappingers and Rana Haddadeen and her husband Sulieman of Ohio, her sister Naheel Marji of Jordan, her brother Jamel Haddad of Jordan and 12 grandchildren.

Nahla was predeceased by her siblings George, Yousef, Fakri, Nawal and Jarjet.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Jan 5, 2021 at 12:30 PM at St. Peter's Cemetery Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, New York.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.
