Raymond Casazza

Wappingers Falls - Raymond A. Casazza, 83, of Wappingers Falls, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center.

He was born in the Bronx, January 11, 1934, the son of August and Gemma Cuneo Casazza. Mr. Casazza was employed as a steamfitter at Castle Point V.A. Medical Center, and also ran his own vending business, CRC Vending. He served in the U.S. Army in the early 1950's. Mr. Casazza was predeceased by his wife, Carol Frankel Casazza on November 29, 2016.

He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Winterhalt and her husband Scott of Poughkeepsie, and 2 grandchildren, Michelle and Melissa Winterhalt.

Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Services will be held at the Community Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery at 1:15 PM. Entombment will follow.

My sincere condolences to Ray's family. I worked at Castle Point also. Your Dad in the Plumbing Shop & I in the Fire Dept. Our paths crossed many times. Ray would always put a smile on your face. I last saw your Dad at a Hospice event, as I too, lost my wife . You are in my prayers.
