Wasson, Jacqueline Crandall

Jacqueline Crandall Wasson of Whitney Point, NY went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. She was born on January 29, 1937 to Louis and Carrie Crandall. She married William Wasson in 1954. Jackie loved spending time with her family, serving in her church, music, reading and keeping up with all of her friends and relatives. She was the founder and owner of Wasson Financial Services. She also gave piano lessons. Jackie is survived by four sons and their wives, David and Karen of Richfield Springs, Jon and Laura of Whitney Point, Dan and Sandy of Kirkwood, and Aaron and Beverly of Lisle. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Melissa, Joseph, Danielle and Jack Ellis, Erin and Leo O'Connor, Josh and Jodie, Chris, Brittany, Danielle, and Cari, and four great grandchildren, Cory, Katie and Zoe Ellis and Ava O'Connor. There are also many nieces and nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends that will miss her greatly. She is also survived by close family friend, Mary Glezen. Jackie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Bill; her parents; her brother, David and her sister, Donna. Jackie's family thanks the Chase Memorial Nursing Home and the staff of Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. Jackie's life will be remembered and celebrated at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th St. Whitney Point at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 29th. Calling hours will be at Nichols Funeral Home, Friday from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. Jackie will always be remembered for her deep faith and her kindness toward all.

When once we were the children in Sunday School rooms ~ to now being the adult parent/grandparent ~ we look back ~ reflect on our memories of youth ~ while cherishing those ~ yet, at the same time realizing at our age now, heaven is growing more rapidily with those we love. Thinking of all of you, and at the same time, trying to invision our loved ones in heaven :)
