Dear Mrs. Spak
There are only a handful of people that make a lasting impression on you during your career. John was one of them! I both worked with and for a while he worked for me on some very challenging projects. John was the “can do” person, whose personality and positive approach to life made each job better. My family, like so many that worked with him in Owego, benefited from his Master Craftsman skills. The all new kitchen was wonderful. My deepest sympathy in your loss. John will be missed by all that had the privilege to how him and work with him. He was a great guy and I miss him.
Sincerely yours,
Dave McCormick

Ms. Spak,
It was with sadness that I read about John in the newspaper. For many years as neighbors, we only spoke occasionally but it was always a positive experience. My condolences to you and your family for this loss.

Dear Joyce and Family, I worked with John in IBM on the Chaals program which we took to Arizona and Germany. I also worked for several years with John on various building and remodeling projects. He was a man of high integrity and worked with tireless energy. If you were charged for 8 hours of labor, you received 10-12 hours of work from him. John will certainly be missed. My wife, Dona, and I extend our deepest sympathy.

I met John soon after being transfered to this area in 1971. We worked in the same area at IBM and continued our frindship after we both retired in 1990. After John retired, he worked as a master craftman on several projects at our home until his untimely death. My family and I are better people just from knowning him and he will be greatly missed , not only by me, but all the members of my family who had the pleasure of knowing him. My family and I express our deep simpthy to John's family and they all can take pride in the legecy he left by his many good works and warm frindship. God Bless you, John Spak, for all your good work you did while on this earth.

To the Spak family; please accept my deepest sympathies at this time of heavy loss. John and I worked together at IBM on several different projects and he also did some extra work for me with some electrical work in my home. He will be missed. A fine person and a
