I worked with Joe many of my 20 years at Link before moving to Boston. He was so funny, I loved him.
His legacy lives on forever.

To the Russin Family,
I was sad to read about Joe's passing. I met Joe at Link. Joe was one of a kind, his smiles, his honesty and his kindness to everyone he met. He took me under his wing and showed me the ‘ropes' at Link. I will always remember him. After his retirement, I would see him on his front porch and we would catch up. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My Uncle Joe was the rock of our family and always a second father to me. He loved me unconditionally and so I did him. He was a strong man and serious man when he needed to be. But, for the most part his optimism, his joy for life, his sense of humor, his constant love and loyalty for us his family,is what shown through the most. He was a remarkable man. Kimmy, Diane and I were blessed to have him for a role model. I'm 56 years old now and still, memories of his hugs, kiss's and his laughter will console me until I see him until we are together again in the Lord's eternal home.
I LOVE YOU,
uncle Joe, "HGC" Cinders
his love and loyalty for us his family, was simply immeasurable

My condolences to the Russin Family, I worked with Joe at Link in the mid 1980's and again in the early 90's and got to know him well. I will never forget his great sense of humor and his friendship. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Cleo and I will miss our front porch visits with Mr. Russin. Our gossip swapping and tasteless jokes. The whole neighborhood loved Joey Russin. My deepest sympathy to his family of whom he always spoke so highly and lovingly.

My Uncle's Whisper
A whisper in springs morning air approached my ear. I listened to what called my name. He came upon me to say, I am going now.
Your more than an uncle, you were my great friend.
I poured my thoughts out to you knowing you would keep them until the end. You made me laugh when I wanted to cry. We went to a Chinese restraunt thinking wasabi was avacado. So I had extra and I did cry! then we laughed for hours:) .
You were my shoulder to cry on during my trying times.
Since the day you opened the door, you opened your heart for me. When I said I needed help you said I am here.
You said in a whisper. I have listened, learned and loved.
I am going now. Do not cry. For I am right here by your side.
Uncle Joe,
We love you and will be sadly missed.
