Mrs. Brozaitis ... as I always called her even into my adult life ... will always remain in my heart. She was my inspiration for baking and sewing! There just wasn't anyone who could do it better. I still recall the beautiful wreath of danish baked goods she would deliver to our home at Christmas. And of course the light blue jr. bridesmaid dress she made for me for Nancy and Ray's wedding. The other dresses were store bought but she copied them exactly and created mine. It was beautiful. And then she made my own wedding cake, with fountains holding up the layers! However, the greatest inspiration to me was Mrs. Brozaitis' energy and spirit. She travelled to California on several occasions even when travelling was no longer easy but did it because family meant the world to her. I love you, Mrs. Brozaitis .... and when I meet you in heaven some day, I hope I can finally call you "Norma". But until then ... I'll continue to think of you and remember the many special occasions we shared. Your grandsons (my nephews) were always tops in both our books! And we loved bragging to each other about them. My deepest sympathies go to all of you ... I share in your loss. xxxoooxxxx

Nancy,
I was saddened to learn of your loss. My mom, also 88, is in very poor health at a nursing home here in Rochester. Dad passed away from dementia years ago, and you probably know that we lost Linda last May 30. In addition, I lost my husband to lung cancer nearly five and a half years ago. In spite of everything, life is good and trust that it is good for you as well.
Hope that you are well and am sure you appreciate the blessings of your mother's life.
Fondly,
Bonnie (Bartholomew) Shirley
