I only just now found Steve's obit. We became internet friends probably 20 years ago through a love of railroads and The Starrucca Viaduct. We swapped daily email for several years and I loved every one of them, always looking forward to them. Steve was a good guy; fascinating, intelligent, knowledgeable. I am sorry. As fate often does, it takes us in different directions. Somehow, we sadly lost touch with one another. My very belated condolences to Steve's family.

So very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I knew him from Lodge as he was the Master in Canawacta a year after I was in Thompson. I remember him as a good man. Surely his passing will create much sorrow among family and friends. The silver lining is our good memories. May God Bless You and your family for your service to our country and God Rest Your Soul.

So sad to hear of Steve's passing. We were good friends as teen agers as well as in high school. We rode motorcycles together and car pooled for years when we worked at Link. Always a good guy and will be missed.

Sorry to hear of your Ossetia. Steve lived across the street from me until I moved to NC. He was a nice neighbor. His kids were always at the house and jenny Beth is still a part of our family.

Steve and I were good friends and car-pooled while we worked @ Singer-Link until we finished our careers in 2009. We loved riding our motorcycles together and spent many hours together while he was getting cancer treatments 6 years ago. I'll miss him a lot...my sincere condolences to Judy and his children Jenny and Stevie Jr.
