Thomas Goodman Obituary
of Athens, Pa.Thomas J. Goodman, 70, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at UHS Wilson Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer handled with grace, high spirits and humor. He was a loving and much loved Dad and Grandpa. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph, Newburgh, N.Y. He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Tom Goodman and Nancy Ramirez, Johnson City, and Mike and Shirley Goodman, Binghamton, Dan and Pam Goodman, Athens, Pa. and Kevin and Joanne Goodman, Endicott; 11 grandchildren; Kristyn, Kyra, Erika, Kevin, Ian, Sean, Patrick, Nicholas, Brigid, Erin and Max; his ex-wife, Mary Goodman, Binghamton; a brother, Buddy, Levittown, N.Y.; a sister, Dolly, Bowie, Md.; and also several nieces and nephews. He was a retired sergeant of the NYC Transit Police.
A Memorial Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2005, at St. James Church in Johnson City. Arrangements are by the Walter D. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 45 Oak Street, Binghamton, N.Y.
