PAPA, IT IS STILL HARD EXCEPTING THE FACT THAT YOU ARE GONE, BUT I'M TRYING. EVERYTIME I LOOK INTO MY SONS EYES I THINK OF YOU. HOW ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS I GOT TO SPEND WITH YOU, HOW YOU TAUGHT VADEN HOW TO CRAWL, WALK AND TALK. EVERYTIME WHEN WE CAME OVER TO YOUR HOUSE IT WAS LIKE GOING HOME AGAIN. VADEN ADORED YOU JUST AS YOU ADORED HIM. I SEE SO MUCH OF YOUR GOODNESS AND LOVE INSIDE HIM. FOR THIS I WILL NEVER FORGET ALL THE LOVE YOU SHOWED ME. YOU WERE MY BESTFRIEND, I LOVED TALKING TO YOU EVERYDAY AND STAYING UP ALL NIGHT JUST TO TALK NOW THE ONLY THING THAT HAS CHANGED YOU WON'T BE TALKING BACK. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND LIVE EACH DAY TO MAKE YOU PROUD OF ME. I WILL RASIE VADEN WITH THE CARING AND LOVE YOU RAISED ME WITH. I WILL SEE YOU WHEN IT'S MY TURN. JUST FROM TIME TO TIME CHECK ON ME SO YOU CAN BE PROUD.

LOVE

Tom, you and your family have brought much joy and laughter and great friendship to my family. From the days when Gary Steve umpired my boy's little league games, to the time I taught T.K. to drive a stick shift, to the countless hours we played rummy. I will never forget when Carol Sue knocked the door off of my car and left you standing there holding the door. I am greatful that you were my friend, you will truely be missed.

Tommy,

I am so glad that you were a wonderful part of my growing up. You were always there not just me but for everyone who knew you. I will always remember how you use to tell us kids to hit the road, when it was time for us to go & we would always giggle and run to the road and hit it with the palm of our hands. You always got a big kick out of that. Tommy, I am so glad that I was able to talk to you, the last few days of your life. I wanted to tell you how much I love you and that your memories would always be with me.The most wonderful memory of all is when I asked you if you knew Christ as your Savior? You said yes, you did. I then asked if you knew where you would live in Eternity? You also said yes. Our last words to each other was that we loved one another, and I told you, that I would see you in Heaven. And I will Big Brother, I Love You. Give our Daddy a hug from his baby girl and tell him that I love and miss him. Give Joy, Carol, Geneva, June, Loretta and Bobby Joe my love. YOU ARE FINALLY HOME!

dearest Tom

Thank you for all the joy you brought into all the lifes you touched. I know I'll never forget you as you'll be in my heart forever. Your easy going way and always encouraging words make it a little easier to know that peace is with you. I love you and miss you terribly and I know that the void will stay forever but your love and gentle ways will always be here to help guide thoughs of us you had to leave behind.

I've never met anyone who had more courage than Mr. Kirby (emphasis on the mister), a man who earned respect and showed the same to others. He could pierce your heart with his stare, and just as quickly, melt it with his infectious smile. I could always count on Mr. Kirby to say or do something to make me laugh. And once in awhile he'd swat me with his stub, and then I knew I was okay. He and Carol Sue were always there when I needed them. They were a real deal, sent by God, and my life was made richer by them. I'll always remember you.
