To my Uncle Sonny,
Blue sky daydreams… a time to wander through favorite memories and silver linings.
Feeling so privileged to have had you in my life. I will never forget your sense of humor, kindness and the sound of music.
I cherish your invitations to be included with you and your young family, my cousins; Cheri, Charlie, Pam and Dawn. The dignity and respect you had always shown to me.
The Lord will watch over you now in the loving cradle of His arms. May you have peace now and the love of your family and friends surround you in Heaven above.
May the wind be beneath your wings… we love you dearly Sonny.
Cheers!

To my Uncle Sonny,
I also have many childhood memories of the times we shared with you and your guitar. I enjoyed singing so much with you and all the family. I thank God so much that he kept you health enough to come and spend time with my family and I. I will cherish those moments forever. You asked Jesus into your heart and the Angels rejoiced that day, especially your family who love you so much. We will be together again. Thank you Jesus! See you soon on the other side.
Love, Your niece Terri

Sonny:
My best friend through childhood, my best friend through life. When I got to
see you that brief time in November 06,
it brought back so many memories of the
years we spent growing up. How I wish
we could have stayed in touch. I know we could have had a lot of good times. God bless you my good friend,
I will always miss you so much.

My dearest Ivan, what a good friend you have been. I know you are in a better place where there is no more pain but I miss your laugh, your jokes, your beautiful voice singing along with the radio (even when you did change the words to something silly). I will always treasure the times we shared together. I will think of you each time I pass or stop at a garage sale or a bazaar because we stopped at so many together. I will think of you each time I see anything that has to do with eagles because you always felt so connected to the eagles and loved them so much. You have a special place in my heart that will be yours forever.

Dearest Uncle Sonny,
You were a part of my cherished childhood memorise and one reason I picked up a guitar. I remember your soaring voice, flawless playing and hearty laugh. I was so blessed to share some time with you and to be able to tell you goodbye (for a while). I will miss you!

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
