September 21, 1931 - August 29, 2018John Megrdichian, 86, loving father, uncle and brother left this earth peacefully on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in Riverside, CA..He leaves his six children, Annamarie Megrdichian Gagner of Riverside, Monica Manzo of San Clemente, John-Paul Megrdichian of Eastvale, Danielle Megrdichian of Honolulu, HI, Mark Megrdichian of Fountain Valley, Matthew Megrdichian of Trabuco Canyon, his sister Marian Shirvanian of Newport Beach, nine grandchildren and four great grand children. He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Mary Ann in 2012.Born in Manhattan (NY), John was raised by Armenian immigrant parents. The family relocated to California in June 1946. John enlisted and served in the US Navy during the Korean War (1951-1954). John had a long career with American Airlines, ending his 42 year career at Ontario International Airport in 1995. After his retirement, John continued to work in and around airports ending his airport service assisting travelers from his passenger "cart" in 2012.John left this earth as he lived, always happy. He will be remembered for his positive outlook to life and his never ending sense of humor. Services will be Monday, September 10th at 11AM at the Mission Inn Hotel's St Francis Chapel, 3639 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside.

I always enjoyed working with John at the Ontario airport for American airlines. He was always fun with a positive attitude. He was always willing to help and make the job enjoyable. I am sorry for your loss but I know John will be in your hearts and memories forever. I am praying for your family. God bless you.
