Robert Nyc Obituary

NYC, ROBERT PATRICK age 66 of Corona, CA passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Robert will be deeply missed. He was born March 16, 1940 in Chicago, IL, and his childhood was spent in Hamlet, Indiana. Robert served in the United States Marine Corp from 1958-1963, and received two Medals of Commendation. He continued his education and was an alumnus of Long Beach City College and Chaffey College. A resident of Corona, CA for 46 years, he worked at 3M Company, Johns Manville, and Shultz Steel Company as an Electrical and Maintenance Engineer. In his spare time he enjoyed hiking in the mountains, lake fishing, hunting, boating, and flying small aircraft. Robert is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Nyc; his sister Eugenia Rosalie Louise Nyc Harper and her husband James Harper; his brother Lawrence George Nyc and his wife Carol Nyc; and 18 nieces and nephews. Robert is preceded in death by his parents John Nyc and Mary Teresa Kolodziej Nyc; and his sister, Cynthia Louise Nyc Foust. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in Corona, CA. Interment will follow at 1pm at the VA National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
