Wanda Ackerman Obituary
Wanda Ackerman passed away February 11, 2017. Born March 9, 1927 in Shoal Creek, Arkansas; she lived in the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley for over 65 years. Wanda is survived by her three children, Jamie Gray (Joni), Larry Gray (Terri) and Debra Swink (Kent); 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gene Gray; second husband, Paul Ackerman as well as 1 brother and 2 sisters. Wanda enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, sewing, crocheting and gardening. She spent many happy years camping in a trailer at Lake Hemet which included taking the grandkids and giving them cherished memories of their loving, one of a kind grandma. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends but she will live in our hearts forever. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
