Edwin Heffley Obituary
February 26, 1933 - June 2, 2025
Edwin L. Heffley Sr. went home to be with the Lord and his wife on Monday June 2, 2025. He is predeceased by his father, Marvin J. Heffley; mother, Martha Howe Heffley; brothers, Roy, Ira, and Marvin; and sisters, Fay, Amy, and Julia. Edwin was a veteran of the Korean War. He was in Dog Co. 188th Regimen 11th Airborne Division. His boys would always ask why he would jump out of a perfectly good airplane. He loved his family very much along with hunting and fishing in N.J., P.A. and Maine. He raised his family to be good, hard working, and respectful. Edwin is survived by his children, Edwin Jr. (Sherry), Randy (Marie), Barry (Gwen), Karl, David (Sue), Kathy, and Brad, eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 7, 2025 from 9 to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. at the Weekstown Community Church- 5663 Pleasant Mills Road Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215. Interment will immediately follow at the Germania Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Edwin to the Green Bank Ambulance Co., The Green Bank Fire Co., or the Weekstown Community Church.
