Gabriel Lacioppa Obituary

LACIOPPA, GABRIEL, "Sam", 92 - of Washington Crossing, PA, passed away on Sunday morning. Sam was born in South Philadelphia, PA, raised on the family farm in Willow Grove, and was a longtime Vineland City resident prior to moving to PA in 1998. He was the son of the late Thomas and Anna (DiGiovanni) and the husband of the late Marion (Whitney) Lacioppa who died in 1996. Before retiring with over 30 years of service, Sam was employed as a carpenter with the Carpenters Union Local #121, Vineland. In his early years he worked as a farmer on the family operated farm in Willow Grove. He always had a sparkle in his eyes, the biggest of hearts and "room for dessert". He is survived by two sons: Arthur A. Fresne (Donna) Buckingham, PA, and Richard W. Fresne (Kathy), Washington Crossing, PA; seven grand- children, six great grandchildren and four great great grand- children, one nephew: Tom Lacioppa, Vineland, two nieces: Annette Lacioppa, Willow Grove, Lorraine Connell, Glendale, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, where relatives and friends will be received from 12-1 PM.
