Helen Auble Obituary

Auble, Helen, - 91, of Ocean City, passed away on Sunday, June 11. Born October 1, 1931 in Philadelphia, Helen lived in Ocean City, Atlantic City and Philadelphia, graduated from Hallahan High School and worked as a legal secretary. She radiated love, offering a smile and kind word that would remind everyone, "it's all going to be okay." She was a comfort and joy to everyone she knew. People left Helen's presence feeling supported and loved. Helen was a dedicated mother of five children who made her life loud but made her very proud. She encouraged them to laugh, play music, and create art together. She was never afraid to join in the fun. Helen passed this humor and love on to her grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader, a crossword expert and a lover of classic Hollywood movies. She survived breast cancer, and she shared her optimism with others. Throughout her life, Helen collected angel statues, and she was the brightest among them. Heaven's collection now gains its rarest angel. Helen is survived by her children Edward Auble (Alison); William Auble (Lori); Christopher Auble; Marge Bennett (Rick); Michael Auble (Angela): her sister Joan McMonigle: her grandchildren Michael Auble (Laura); Amanda Auble; Kristine Auble; Stephanie Auble; Michael Auble; Joseph Auble; Briana Auble; Sean Auble: her countless nieces and nephews: and her great-grandchildren Ethan Auble and Ella Grace Auble. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Edward Auble, and her eight brothers and sisters. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 19th, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 724 Maple Ave., Linwood, from 10 to 11a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. Arrangements by the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, Linwood - Ventnor. Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com.
